The apostle Paul encourages parents with these words. "Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord." (Ephesians 6:4)
And in the Old Testament, God's Word gives us this promise. "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." (Proverbs 22:6)
Our Lord promises us great things as our children learn the good news of Jesus and the holy Scriptures. At Trinity, we are blessed with abundant ways for our people to grow in the training and instruction of the Lord.
Adult spiritual growth is important, and we offer a Sunday morning and Thursday evening adult Bible class from September through May.
We have a solid Sunday School program at Trinity. Sunday School for our children 3 years old through 8th grade is 8:15 Sunday mornings, September through May.
We support Christian day-school education for Trinity children. They are encouraged to attend St. John's Lutheran School, Manitowoc, the excellent school of our sister church four miles to the Northeast in rural Manitowoc.
St. John's Lutheran School
We are in the federation of about thirty congregations that support and run Manitowoc Lutheran High School. We encourage our members to send their children to this fine high school which puts God's Word at the center of everything they do and teach.
Manitowoc Lutheran High School
For families who would like their high school children to train toward being a pastor or teacher, we have two synod preparatory schools.
